Caroline Pellegrini, MS
Clinical Research Assistant, Boston Children’s Hospital Female Athlete Program
Caroline received her BS in kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she completed her honors thesis in the Biomechanics lab. Previously, Caroline worked as a Project Coordinator in the UMass Amherst Muscle Biology lab, researching resistance training in older adults, and as an Analytics Product Specialist with WHOOP. Most recently, Caroline received her MS in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences with a concentration in Sports Science from the University of Pittsburgh, where she completed an internship with the Pitt women’s basketball team and worked as a research assistant in the Biodynamics Lab investigating the relationships between dynamic joint function and disease, injury, and treatment to improve diagnosis and care of orthopedic conditions. In her free time Caroline enjoys running, rock climbing, and playing ultimate frisbee. Caroline is passionate about the holistic well-being of female athletes and using research and technology to help them recover from injuries and reach their full potential on and off the field.
