Providing multidisciplinary clinical care to female athletes
The Wu Tsai Female Athlete Program is part of the Sports Medicine Division at Boston Children’s Hospital, and provides leading, multidisciplinary care to female athletes. We take a comprehensive approach to treating the female athlete, evaluating aspects such as nutrition, exercise habits, hormonal health, and mental health, rather than just injuries and symptoms, to ensure optimal health and performance.
The Wu Tsai Female Athlete Program team consists of physicians and physician associates, dietitians, and mental health providers who are passionate about the female athlete. Our providers understand the unique considerations for treating female athletes and are dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health and performance, equipped with the knowledge and tools to fuel appropriately and prevent injury.
